Joanlee Ferrara: Teacher, friend and respected artist. In her memory, her family has donated the paintings below to Villa Duchesne, where she taught happily for so many years, and the alumnae association to which both she and her daughter belonged. We will award the paintings to the highest bids at 3:30pm on Saturday, 12 March, the date of Joanlee's memorial service.

The Seasons

Framed (no glass). 24.5" x 36.25". A modern interpretation of Vivaldi's Four Seasons, this oil on canvas dates all the way back to the early '60s and was judged by Mom's professors at Washington University Art School to be the best work she did while there. It went on to win a variety of prizes in various St. Louis art shows in the following years.
